Engineered Cross-Ply construction is today's modern dream wood floor. With the strength and firmness of this wood floor it eliminates the effects that the humidity has on regular hardwood floors.

This process is done by taking engineered wood layers and stacking them repeatedly over top one another in the opposite direction. This causes the wood to be greater reinforced than normal 3/4 inch wood and helps prevent the humidity from altering the wood. Regular 3/4 inch wood would normally change sizes and even buckle and warp preventing them from being installed in basements or near moisture but not with cross-ply construction.
